Hello Neighbors,
Beautification is an ongoing concern in our neighborhood. While the board can only do so much, you as the homeowner/tenant play a HUGE part and it all starts with being mindful of a few simple things:
*Please note that doing these simple things above can result in less violations being sent out by Cedar Management company and less fines being passed down to you as the homeowner.
Repainting trim as needed for faded, chipped areas around windows, doors and dormer windows.
Power Washing moldy siding on your home. Mildew on the home should be attended to by washing with soap/water or bleach mixture - either manually or by pressure washing.
Lawn care – please attend to lawns regularly, by mowing and keeping weeds and bare spots to a minimum. This includes grass/weeds in cracks of driveway and sidewalks.
Trimmimg bushes and trees
Removing Vehicles from driveways that are in non-working condition within a timely manor.
Storing grills, trash cans, kid's toys, fire pits, etc. in proper locations NOT driveways, front/side yards or back yards for those that live on corner lots or your backyard can be seen from the road.
Keeping excessive noise levels to a minimum
Making sure that all dogs are on a leash, as this is a city-wide ordnance. Also picking up after your pet
Mailbox Maintenance - see the CCR located in documents for the mailbox guidelines. Keep them looking fresh and in proper working order
Vehicles parked improperly (see the Parking Ordinance information on the "All Residents" tab).
Don’t block sidewalks with waste bins, trash/lawn bags, boxes, brush, etc. They should be placed on the street curb or on your driveway at the curb on trash days. They should also be returned to the proper storage location once your trash is picked up.
Waste bins and any other trash/recycling-related items (wooden pallets, lawn bags, boxes, rubbish or other trash) should be hidden from street view when not out for scheduled pickup.
A note about PARKING.
As we all know the streets in here are narrow. When you or your guests are parking on the street please be mindful and DO NOT park across from another car. You should stagger parking so that other vehicles can get down the road or park on the same side of the street. If an emergency should occur and the emergency vehicle cannot get down the road, they do the the right to "move" your car!
